If your going to tow get the 5.4.

If you care about performance get the 5.4.

If you want the V8 for sound, power for hauling something every once in a while. Get 4.6 or 5.4.

4.6 is a high mileage motor. They will last a LONG time.

5.4 is a great motor. It can hit 200k also.

Most people who want a V8 and get the 4.6, regret not getting the 5.4.

I have the 5.4 and have not had ANY problems. (*Knock on wood*)

Good Luck.
