Default Locking System

Hey Forum, I am trying to figure out the total cost of making my 2wd truck more suitable for offroad. im not going through 3 ft deep mud, but i want something that will allow me to have some fun, and i dont have room for a new vehicle. im figuring on getting a locking system and im looking at the power trax one for about 450. is this a manual locking system? do i need a manual system for my truck?

just aiming for a little extra traction.

has no one used this or is it junk?

better off finding a LS rear end from a wrecked truck?

The factory LS blows. Get a locker. Such as Detriot Tru-Trac or even a Detriot Locker.

the problem with a detroit is i dont have the tools for setup. plus im not going to be doing a ton of off road type stuff just the occasional sandbar to load up some sand and the occasional mud hole on dirt roads.
