Ok so I have a couple questions, I've been looking around the site and only get partial answers. Sorry if I missed it. Question is I have a 9.75 LSD in my 2001 5.4 and was wonder what my options for a locker was? I know you can't have a LSD and locker, so can I remove my LSD and replace it with a locker?
Or do I have to start with a open diff. I can't really find any lunchbox lockers like the Aussie for a 9.75. I think Detroit has one. Is there any logic in going with the 8.8 just to have a locker? Sorry if I sound like I don't really get it, I'm new to trucks and have only been researching lockers for the last couple days. Thank for the help in advance.
