Default Lock right reviews and opinions?

So Ive decided that its cheaper for me to get a lunchbox locker such as the lock right rather than replacing my spider gears. So first off I have a limited slip carrier so my options are limited. let me know what you guys think and why. Thanks

They are great for budget builds. They suck on the street with crappy engagements. I personally run Detroit Tru-tracs.

I think the "no-slip" Is the only drop in locker for the ls carrier and for that price might are well go with a full replacement. I swapped in an open carrier and an aussie locker then sold my ls carrier. If you need someone to do the gears for you just pony up for a full replacement. The price of a new open case and locker is very close.

Im worried that there may be unseen damage to the carrier. I really want to run a detroit full locker but theyre about $750 for our trucks. To me I dont care if it chirps the tires or pulls when your in and out of the throttle its a truck not a caddy so I drive it like one. Which is probably why this happened. But anyways Im not new to differentials but say I pony up the little bit extra for a true trac and swap over my ring gear. In theory I shouldnt have to adjust my pinion depth correct?

If you go with a Tru-trac you will need to also swap over the tone ring also. I reccomend putting in new carrier bearings, you will just need to set the back lash, and check rational preload.
