Little rant for the day..
Take my truck in to have the windows tinted, he says its $85, I gave him $100 and didn't get change. I just thought okay, no big deal, keep my $15. I get home, and about 10 minutes later I get a call. "Hey bubba, I didn't know your truck has like an 8 inch lift and vent shades on it, I'm going to have to use a step ladder to do it. It's going to be $25 more." Really?! Just because your genes determined that you were going to be short means I have to pay you more money? Dude is lucky he is the only one in town that does tinting, otherwise I'd tell him to shove it up his *****. I'm now without a vehicle. The person who picked me up from there to bring me home is at work now. My parents both work out of town, so tell me "bubba", how in the f**k am I supposed to get back up there to bring you more money? He then has the nerve to ask me for coupons from the place I work at because he eats there twice a week. He also says "you have 40% on the back, but I only have 35% in stock so that's what I'll have to use." Sure, the 5% difference might not be noticeable, but you should be prepared to do all different shades of tint and have everything in stock. I'm pretty lit right now. From this single experience, I'm not sure how the hell he is still in business. I know one thing, next time I need windows tinted, I'll go out of town to have it done. I won't let him tough another vehicle of mine.
Sucks man. Some people just suck. I live in Miami, trust me that kind of crap goes on all the time here. To make matters worse most of the time the job done sucks *****. Just let it go and never go back. Don't give him any coupons screw him. Eventually places like that close down. Customer satisfaction is what keeps those kind of places open due to referrals. So not only will you never go back but you will never reccomend this idiot to no one. After you get your truck you should tell him how you will never come back.
I know he does a great job, he has a lot of people here that recommend him, but I guess that's only because he's the only one in town. I took him the other money and mentioned that I didn't get change back and so he just made me pay the $10 difference. He did apologize for it as well. I'm just not sure how the height of the vehicle effects the amount of tint or the strategy used lmao. I understand he may have to use a ladder, but that would take 30 seconds to get it out and put it back. Inconvenient? Maybe, just depends on who you ask, but having 20+ years of experience behind his belt, you'd think it wouldn't be an issue.
Well, it's much more difficult to work off a ladder. He should of looked at the truck first.
Did he really call you Bubba lol. If so, it's you that let him get away with that. Also, let me get this straight, he wouldn't work on your vehicle unless you paid him first ? I have other questions, but hell, he would have lost my business and got a piece of mind already.

If the height made a difference to him, he should of called me before he did the work and tole me there was a difference in the price.
Don't do the work and then tell me it cost more.

Where I live we have a guy that will come to your house and tint out windows in your driveway... Or at your work. He don't care lol he is pretty good to for the price. Think I was in 200 bucks in a 4 door Altima front and back windows plus the back glass and a tint strip on wind shield and on my old extended cab f150 he did the 2 front windows.
