Default A little Electrical help please.

2002 F-150, 5.4 supercab. Had a leak from the rear differential cover, so I resealed it and filled er up... Now there is absolutely no power to the vehicle.

When i turn the key I get a repetitive "ticking" sound from the area around the interior fuse box and the power door locks 'try' to activate over and over again (even after I remove the key) This one's got me confused so I thought I'd ask before pulling and testing every fuse in the vehicle.

the key was in the ignition while I was doing the differential, but I've never heard that ticking and lock activating with a bum battery. Before I throw it on a battery charger, I'd appreciate your expert input.

Well the front diff and battery power have no relation...not even distant cousins.

That's what I figured, thanks. Got the battery on the charger and get to spend tomorrow chasing Gremlins.

The door locks going crazy like that is just what happens with a low battery. Yea they get all goofy like that when the battery is down...that part is normal.

Battery was fine, ended up being a PCM relay. The timing of it while changing rear end oil just sort of freaked me out. I'm ok with the basic mechanical stuff but electrical issues send me into a tailspin. Thanks
