Default Lights behind the grill.

How big of a light can I go behind the grill? I want the most light output possible. Also do I need to worry about melting the grill?

Hella 500's they fit fine and put out great light, and at $60 a pair on amazon they don't break your wallet either. I have a set of Hellas and a set of KC slim lights and light wise they both perform just as good, but the Hellas cost half what the KC's did

I have 2, 7 in HID lights behind my grill and are awesome. Some may think a little overkill but I love my truck and hate deer. I had to do some trimming to make them fit because the lights measure 8.5 in across and 9 in up and down including the mount but well worth it and no melting from them.

100 watt Blazer brand from www.walmart.com they were $15 a piece. They're chrome housings with double gasket glass lenses. No melting yet. I have less than $50 in my set up. I may upgrade to something with a known name later but these are great for now.
