Default Lighting Problem

Hi guys/ This is my first post so I have an 02 f-150 that I just bought. The lighting **** only turns on the headlights and fog lights. The interior lighting and parking lights do no come one. I need help on what is the problem because it isn't the bulbs . I just don't know. Thanks

Sounds like a fuse. If you have the Auto-Lamp feature on the switch assembly, turn it off (the thumbwheel). Then, check your fuse panel. When mine went (on a '98), it took out 2 fuses at the same time - with the same symptom as yours. Check the owners manual for fuse # and location (most likely different than a '98). BTW, this is the fuse panel inside the cab.

A fuse is a good place to start. I'm having a hard time figuring out his fuse(s) it is by looking at the manual.

I found the fuse, #6 under the hood. It blew out another. Not right away but in like an hour. I think I should go from the 15A to 20A. Thanks for the help.

Wow! That's the first time that I've heard of a main fuse going out at the same time as a panel one. Glad you found that one!
