Northern Mudder....before I started drilling holes in the front of my bumper I might think about cutting the mounts off that are on it and and having some tabs welded back that you could mount it to the top of the bumper. The pic I posted show how I mounted mine with holes in only the $90 plastic piece showing and not in the $250 bumper. Just a thought in case you would ever want to take it off.

Yea that's an awesome idea is it pretty sturdy?

Yeah it is very sturdy! If you do it this way just take your time and make sure to use spacers between the top of the chrome bumper and the painted plastic cover, it keeps it from pulling the painted part down and distorting it at the mounting points. I just stacked stainless washers until it was perfect. Thats one more thing, use stainless hardware so you wont have anything rusting and looking like crap on top of your bumper.
