Default lift question

hey new to the site. ive got an 02 supercrew with a 5.4. when i got it it already had a lift on it. it had 2.5 inches in the back. it sat approximately 3 inches higher in the front. i wanted it to be level so i took out the 2.5'' blocks and put 5'' blocks in. i do believe i have some slight axle wrap going on now.

so my question is, do i try to prevent the axle wrap by using some type of device? or do i put the 2.5'' blocks back in and get some add a leafs?

what type of anti-axle wrap devices are out there? will the 2.5'' blocks and add a leafs prevent axle wrap?

keep in mind this truck will never see any mud and minimal dirt roads and stuff and i dont tow to much of anything. (6x12 lawn trailer occasionally)

i appreciate any help i can get

You'll be looking for traction bars, they're bars that mount to your axle and farther up in your frame and prevent your axle from wrapping, steer clear of the "universal" ones with the rubber stoppers, I feel like they'll do nothing on a lifted truck. http://www.andysautosport.com/ford/1...bars/pro_comp/

Cool. Thanks for the reply. I think I may want to try one of the other options, like put the 2.5" blocks and add a leads or lift shackle.

Thoughts on this type of setup???
