Default Lift problems. Please help.

Well i was tightening the torsion keys. and well the left one was ****EN hard. my DAD couldn't do it! but then i took a big breath and finally got it myself. well anyway, i did a 1.5 turn on the bolt and then i did it on the left one. well when i was finally done and happy, i checked the measurements and well.. the one on the right had a bigger gap! then i tightened the left some more(without the jack) and it didn't lift that much. It's like one fourth of an inch differencebut i'm not sure if that will do any damage or anything. Please inform me with anything that could help. What should i worry about if there is anything that i should.

Thanks,
~Hector.

to turn em more, did you try takin a pipe of some kind, a foot or two long and slip it over the handle of your wrench and use it as the handle to get more leverage on it? made doin mine a lot easier. i just had to play with them and adjust it for a while and eventually i got them within an 1/8" of each other and left it there.

What do you mean jack? Just park it on level ground and check the measurements. If you need to lift more then tighten that screw and check again. I never jacked mine up.

And I actually tightened my passengers side screw today because it was sagging about 1/4inch. Also after you do it, drive around for a day or two and check again after they have settled.

I don't know why but for some reason they require different amounts of tightening to have equal lift heights. I suggest jacking it up because it just makes it easier. Like was said in the previous post using a breaker bar helps tremendously.
