A lift block is suspension. It goes between the rear leaf and axle. My truck has them (2 inch I believe) from the factory. They aren't too difficult to install, but you need to realize that too much can cause extra stress on your pinion, u-joints, driveshaft, etc. Pinion angle should always be checked when changing the axle position, etc.

A body lift puts blocks between the body and the frame. A suspension lift uses the blocks between the leaf springs and rear axle. Blocks are stock on 4x4, but most suspension lifts give you a bigger block in the rear.

Not difficult to install. Would take someone experienced maybe 30 minutes someone not so experience 1 hour. Look it up on YouTube.

It's about as simple as changing a tire. Just unbolt the U-bolts and shocks, then put a jack under the hitch receiver and jack up the truck, put your block in, lower the truck, and bolt everything back up.

Make sure that your current U-bolts can handle a bigger lift block, I had to go get new U-bolts in the middle of putting bigger leaf springs on lol.

Yeah, LOL. It's much easier to just buy a kit that has the u-bolts in it. Also.... I wouldn't recommend stacking blocks. Just get one that is the right height.
