Default Lift

Hey guys, first post here. Just bought a 99 F150 XLT v8 triton and it's my baby. I fixed the alignment, redid the interior, put after market door speakers and deck in it. Next on my list: LIFT. Being a college kid, funds come solemnly, even while working two jobs. What kind of body lift and what kind of tires should I get?
Thanks everyone

Price range? 2wd or 4x4? Is install included in your price? If you are a 4x4 you can get a 5" rough country suspension lift for about 1600 bucks installed.

It's a 4x4 and install is obviously a variable considering the shop, and definitely a body lift seeing as though those are cheaper all around even after install.

I have a 3" performance accessories body lift and 285/75r17s (34x11.50) toyo ats.

You can fit 35s but they will rub the frame at full lock.

Here is gratuitous show off pic for reference. Lol

Just remember that with body lifts you will have to get new brackets for the bumper as there will be a big gap from your bumpers to the body. I personally don't like body lifts, but that's just me. Right now you can go up to 35's with no lift, and even with 5" of lift 35 is the biggest I think I can go. Remember though if you do get 35's you will be hard pressed to get new gears (I got a quote of 2400 bucks) because your truck will be working like a dog.

A quality body lift like PA will come with all necessary brackets and linkages.
