I'm looking at leveling kits for my 02 supercrew, just want some info on the torsion bar keys. Do they work ok? I've heard just cranking the stock ones up gives a harsher ride.

Any info on this?

 

Stock keys can be cranked to yield about 2" of lift. With reindexed aftermarket keys you can get up to about 3" of lift. You will have a harsher ride no matter what. Plus the higher you go the more your front end parts will wear faster. There is plenty of threads already on torsion keys search is your friend.

 

It's cheaper and less harsh on your suspension if you just crank your stock keys
