Default Leveling Kit Questions

Hi so let me start by saying I drive a 97 extended cab 2wd all stock mostly. I have searched on here quite a bit and google has been my best friend the last couple days. HAHA I was looking at getting a 2 inch leveling kit for the front and later wanting to run a 2 or 3 inch body lift down the road. With the 2inch leveling kit to my knowledge I won't need to replace and control arms or anything will I? And later if I decide to bring the body up what all am I going to need to complete that?

Thanks in advance
Zach

NO need to replace the control arms. I added 2" to mine. It was a simple take off/bolt on/put back on process. Just a few hours of work. Look for the write up in the How-to section.

I recommend going with an HBS leveling kit. I loved mine.

I can't speak about raising the whole body up. Someone else will have to chime in, or do a search.

Good luck~

Thanks for the reply! The body wouldn't come till later this summer anyway so I have time to figure that out! But I'm glad I can do the front for now!

One more question. Is anyone on here using like the metal spacers rather than the poly urethane doughnuts that can shed a little light on them possibly?

Anyways went with the 1.5 inch poly kit from daystar just to even it all up it should be here next week!! I'm not looking to throw a bunch of money in my suspension being that it is still only 2wd and it would be unnecessary. Maybe someone could help me with this too I have 255 sized tires on there right now and when I cut the wheel to turn left it rubs pretty bad do you guys think that with the level up front I can get rid of that?
