Where do I get the lowering shackles for the rear at? I'm having trouble finding them.

Exactly I don't see the point of lowering trucks

Check summit racing or LMC trucks. Both should have em.

Because they want to drive a car, not a truck.

Who cares, as long as what they do to their vehicle isn't hacked/unsafe. It's their truck, you don't have to like/understand why someone does it. Ive had three trucks/SUVs. A 3" lowered '96 GMC Sonoma with a 350 Vortec swap (still have), a lifted '96 Isuzu Rodeo on 32s, and no my '99 F150 that I plan on lifting a bit on 35s. They all have their purpose. My GMC doesn't see off road, but I've hauled ATVs, lumber, concrete, mulch, etc. It's done exactly what I've asked of it and is great for loading/unloading. Personally I'd love a Lightning clone with a 5.4 3V and two 70mm snails, with a 5/6 ish drop.

My question is just why. What made you turn around one day and say to yourself, "ya know. I really would like my truck to sit lower." Im jusy lookin for an explanation.

Because there isn't any where it can really go off road around where I live. And it's not exactly lower. Just leveling the rear end with the front end.

Not worried about price. I want quality.
