Default Leveling Kit for 2001 2wd

I bought a front leveling kit for my 2001 2wd. I am wanting to take the rake out of the truck just for looks. I am wondering if I will need longer shocks or any further parts to make this work. Its the Trailmaster FL220 that consists of basically these 2 rubber couplings that fit over the springs. I appreciate any feedback.

If the rubber coil boosters are under three inches then no you wont need new shock from what i have heard. by the way i also heard from a few people that the rubber leveling kits do alot of squeeking, thats why i chose to go with 2" leveling coil springs by rough country for my 2000 2wd lariat, but i no the rubber leveling kits do work, its just they dont last as long as the aluminum leveling kits that are out there, which sucks cause i never could find any that work with my truck. so instead i had to spend $150 for bigger springs.

Im sure replacing the springs was expensive right? About how much did you spend and how well did it work. It wouldnt be any more work than doing the spacers i dont think. Thanks for writing a response. Either way...F-150 is the best truck on the planet.
