Default Leveling kit?

i got a 99 f150 i want the nose higher i been looking at leveling and they all show coil spring extenders exept for the 97-03 f150.... all it shows is the aftermarket torsion keys.. i have heard aftermarket keys r bad for ur cv joints and other suspension components, if it is bad for them whats another way to level it without causeing damage

You could take the block out in the rear or buy drop shackles

If you are 4wd, the only way to lift the front is cranking your torsion bars up stock, aftermarket will get you the same height as stock keys but also allow for about 2" more lift in the front but it can cause alot of stress and damage. Other than that your best bet is to get a suspension lift that comes with drop mount brackets to give lift but keep everything else almost stock angles and stress.

Or do a body lift, but if you want to be level, you still need to level the front with torsion bars stock cranked or susp.

Under the cab at the end of the torsion bar you'll see a bolt. By tightening them it will raise the front. Either make sure you do the same turns or jack it up crank them then lower it and make sure both sides are even. I took mine around the block then remeasured after the suspension settled.
