Default To level or not to level?

Hey guys,

Having a bit of an internal debate with myself as to whether to level my truck or not. It's an 01 f150, v6 2wd xl sport. The only available option to level it is to either do spindles or 1.5" coil spring spacers. The truck is more or less a beater (i put alot of miles on it going back and forth to the MX track, it's a low budget truck that's been EXTREMELY reliable). Since it's a low budget "beater" I don't think 300 for a spindle lift is worth it to me, that's 15% of the trucks total value lol. 30 dollars for a coil spring spacer and 50 for an alignment that it already needs isn't too bad however. The truck has new control arms and ball joints, swingarm end links, etc. The whole front suspension is fresh, so what I'm wondering is will the 1.5" coil spring spacer 1) ruin the ride completely and 2) wear out the fresh front end parts much quicker than stock? Thanks in advance guys.

No. it will ride harsher though. And yes. The front end will go out quicker.

I've been running what was posted above in the link for well over a year. The entire front end, including shocks, is just over a year old. The ride quality, in my opinion, is fine.

Are either of those v6's? The V6 has a bit different front end.... Does installing them require a spring compressor?

That's a loaded question really. You can pull it off without a spring compressor but it'll be a hell of a lot easy if you used one. Any auto parts store will let you borrow one.
