I really doubt that anyone would care that your 1 in diameter antennas are 11' high

no one is going to pull you over for having tall antennas.. just make sure you don't hit anything or go anywhere that's lower than 11'

Ok, I just wanted to make sure. I have 2 off road lights up on top of the rack too, and I have to keep covers in them since theyre not 40 some odd inches from the road, which I think is BS

Legal height in most states is 14 ft. Next time you need to know pull up next to a decent sized tractor with a cab, theyre always legal.

Thats true. I was talking overall. Theres usually legal bumper height, legal headlight, and legal taillight.

I thought that you are allowed to have "off road" lights on a vehicle higher than normal headlights, but they have to have covers on that dont let any light through? Thats what I read somewhere and I am leaving the covers on mine, so there shouldnt be a problem.

Just found this on the PA DOT website. (http://www.dmv.state.pa.us/pdotforms.../chapter43.pdf)

(f) Off-road lighting.--Off-road lighting lamps may be
mounted on the roof or roll bar of a vehicle and shall be
covered with an opaque covering that prohibits any light from
being emitted when the vehicle is being operated on a highway or
trafficway. Any person who illuminates an off-road lighting lamp
while the vehicle is being operated on a highway or a trafficway
commits a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be
sentenced to pay a fine of $100.

wow.. my KCs sit just a little higher than my headlights and I have rock guards on them that protect from rocks but still let all the light through and I have the KCs on whenever there aren't any other cars around. I think that law really only applies to when there are other cars around..
