Default LED headlight switch?????

Well, i figured while I was waiting for my COP's to come in I'd do my headlight switch. I really love the blue LED cluster look and read all bout the mods, so since my face plate on my headlight switch was already broken I thought I'd start there. Only took a couple of mins to figure out mine was alot different than 2000MTZ's pics on his write up. I got it done with pics and diagrams cause my pics are really bad looking, but its pretty straight forward. I took me a little ingenuity, a little (very little) electronic experience and several years of modding know how to gett'r done. I'm gonna post everything when I get all my info straight and in an understandable order, so stay tuned and I welcome any suggestions or criticism on my "write up". Okay?

Oh...also my truck is a 99" F150 4x4 without the auto light feature but it does have the fog lights. This is actually the first mod I've done on it since I got it, but I love this truck so I'm gonna keep it as long as I can...

Yours should look just like mine unless someone swapped in a 97-98 switch. On them you have to wrap leads around a tower and add a resistor where the positive side connects. Is that what yours looks like?

Yea, it was. But I thought I'd post my mod for anyone with a different version and I did it simple enough for everyone to understand and a little info on different color LED's for those DIY'ers. I love the blue color and making plans for the rest of my interior.
