Default Leaky Windshield maybe?

Every time I get into my truck after a heavy rain the drivers side floor is soaked and the compass, heater fan, and mirror start acting all screwey, I'm assuming this is because of water on the GEM, I don't think it's fried though because after about a day of two of no rain the problems subside. How do I reseal my cowl or windshield? Anybody had this problem before? Also water seems to be appearing out of the drivers side sissy handle, I have no clues about that

Also, it's the third windshield I've had on the truck, the first two got cracked by tree branches

I've had to take out and re-seal windshields for concerns like that before, it usually happens after a windshield has been replaced before the metal gets scratched then rusted then water leaks down and in there

So what's the fix? Can I just reapply some sealant to the leaky area?

If it's bad enough you may want to get it replaced because i've seen a couple accounts where water seeps into some electrical components that are always hot and catches fire. Apparently fires are pretty common with our year models

But, assuming it's not too bad, you can just take it a glass place and they will likely plug it for free, cause most insurance companies will pay for chipped glass. Otherwise i've seen that you can buy some clear nail polish or maybe even super glue and brush it on the crack or chip. But that's really only temporary. Only do super glue if it's not in your line of vision cause it tends to not be as clear as advertised lol

From my experience in replacing windshields the only way to get a good proper fix that won't leak again is too removed and reseal the windshield, you could defiantly try and just seal up where it's leaking, would be much cheaper than a remove and real seal of the glass
