Default Leaky remote oil filter lines?!

Had my truck serviced a couple days back and I have leaky remote oil filter lines. Does this mean I need an oil filter relocation kit? I have 98 f 150 5.4. Currently my oil filter is on my bumper driver side. Help please!!

It sounds like you are already using a relocation kit. Have you gone through the lines and made sure everything is tight and the o-rings are in good shape?

The filter is exactly where it should be and you either have a leak at the oil filter or one of the lines or fittings at the filter mount. Repair parts are available to fix your problem once you identify where the leak is occurring. You can find the parts at the Ford Parts web site where they have drawings and the part numbers identified.

I've had the same problem and I'm on my third set of hoses. You can get them at a ford dealer for around $240 but I got mine on rock auto.com for somewhere around $120. I can't remember the exact numbers.
