I have 99 4.2 V6, and theres an intermittent knocking sound under the right side of the truck (around the cat's) it only knocks when in gear, same on rev, as in drv. the knocking does not increase when you rev the engine, Oh and it doesnt do it every time!

 

The traveling gnome is asking to be let in!
