keyless entry disables ignition
Hello,
I am brand new to this forum so i am not exactly sure of protocol or ettiquite, however i need to ask a question. Normally when i go somewhere i throw my keys & cell phone on the floor of my truck. it is a f-150 4wheel drive super cab w/5.2 L. v-8. I then use my keyless entry to unlock drivers door. Today i did this at church and could not get back in. some helpful person came to my aid and started hitting buttons which he said was the re-set code. It did no good. I finally called my wife to bring over my spare set of keys. I opened the door with the key and put my key in the ignition and couldn't believe it when the truck wouldn't start. all i could hear was silence and the computer clicking up a storm. does anyone know how this may have happened and how i can get my truck started again?
Thank you for any helpful responses
Dave
