Default Keyless Entry

I have a 02 screw lariat and I can not figure out what problem I have with the keyless entry.
None of my remotes work. Ive tried replacing the batteries, made sure its in the correct way, and tried to reprogram them.
I can get the truck to go into programming mode (8 on/off cycles) but when I press the button on the remote, nothing happens.
All the lock/ unlock buttons work fine, including the exterior keypad. All the interior electronics (radio, windows, lights, etc.) work too.

Could I have a problem with the receiver under the dash, or am I doing something wrong?

Makes me think it's an antenna or feed line problem...

I have a little device I bought to check remotes.... but they also have a thing at my Autozone that you can take your remote and see if it has output signal. I'd check the remotes first.

My RF signal checker:

This seems to fit your situation.

If the system does not go to mode after the initial procedure, I'd check the fuses. I know it sounds silly, but that was the problem with my lil Red truck. I couldn't get mine to go there either. Then I checked the brake lights and found that they weren't working. Underhood as well as the dash fuses.

Also make sure your brake light switch wires aren't broken. This is a fairly common problem. The switch moves with the brake being depressed, so the wires can break, come loose, or just not make a good contact. Any of this can cause a no read situation with the PCM.
