I do have an auto garage opener, but again, it doesn't do it in the day, only at night and only in my driveway. I have no issues locking or unlocking my doors in the daytime at my house and night time elsewhere with the keyfob in my pocket or in my hand from a range of 30 feet or so. I'm guesstimating the distance since I don't measure it everytime lol. The only thing I can think of is that motion light, which I will test tonight. Not sure if it's the light or the motion itself. I would think the motion is passive but I could be wrong. Also the only reason I'm thinking that is because I've come across something similar in a different situation. It has not crossed my mind about someone's ham radio or something in my area, but I have not seen any crazy looking backyard sized antennae around my neighborhood.

I have not found a solution to this yet. I still have no idea what is causing the night time blocking of the keyfob.

Thanks for trying. You guys have come up with ideas I would never have considered and that train of thought has allowed me to think more outside the box than I normally would have solo. If/when I come up with a solution I will post it here in case anyone else has the issue as well. I live in Colorado Springs, and it's not well known that a majority of Colorado sits on top of radon (naturally occurring breakdown of uranium) and my house came with a radon pump. I'm wondering if maybe the radiation from that might be causing the interference since it is a gas and it cools down at night, so maybe it rises at night as the air cools? Probably not, but it's a thought.
