Can I buy an after market key fob/ remote and program it myself with out going to the dealer.

I programmed my new one myself. Pretty easy. Directions are in the manual, or online. I have a 2005, but should be the same.

Yes, keyless-remotes.com they are about $25 and come with programing directions.

Thanks I have a working key fob but the case is broke. Be nice to buy a new shell. But I need two remotes any ways. And two for my jeep Cherokee. Will look into the websites and eBay.
