Default just did the gotts mod

I have a 98 f150 4.6l 5 speed and just did the gotts mod a few days ago and what a difference it makes. I had some 3 inch pvc laying around so all i had to buy was the rubber coupler. What a cheap fix for a awsome gain. I've been considering doing the silencer mod. Does anyone have any negitive feed back about it. thanks

Yes, it is a great mod. I did mine 2 weeks ago and I was suprised, throttle response is great now, and before i thought it felt "sluggish." Im glad i did it, I beleive the gain would rival a $200-$300 CAI. I dont know if the silencer mod gains power cuz i did em both at once. But my truck seems to have a deeper tone and it backraps now when i get on it, which it didnt before. btw im using a glasspack. Just make sure you take your time when takin the plastic pipes apart and use black weatherstriping glue cuz nothin else seems to work when gluein it back together.

yes it fits. you just have to shave/sand it into an oval shape and then hammer it into the hole in the wheel well about 2 inches.

i did the mod last week, pretty quick and easy to do, i think it took me like 30min. sanding was the longest part. noticed less hesitation when i hit the gas

its taking the stock tubing that goes through your wheel well for your intake out and replacing it with a piece of 3" pvc pipe, i think the stock tubing is what? 2"?
