Just found out my 2001 f 150 4x4 is actually only 3 wheel drive because Ford didn't put limited slip in the front end. This is a joke right? I'm damn pissed.

No it's 4 wheel drive no matter what kind of diff it has in it. Unless the clutches in your diff are so shot and worn that when one wheel catches the other slips.
