Its late but dwelling
So yeah it's a little late but while it was fresh on my mind. I drove home from work tonight as I was pulling in to my parking spot at home here my truck shut off!!! So I put it in park, and popped the hood, moved the positive bat cable around and the lights and everything popped back on, and started up fine! What caused this?
P.S also has no been the first time this occurred.. Just remove the bat cable and it comes back?

This is common. The corrosion builds up on your terminal and a jolt or bump in the road causes it to loosen enough to develop a bad connection. Periodic inspections and maintenance will prevent it from happening when not expected. I am just as bad as anybody else when I overlook this maintenance and experience an unexpected failure.

yall's trucks shut off over a bad battery connection? Why is the alternator not keeping the truck running? Shoot, my truck had been moved multiple times by hooking the jump box to the cables and running it off the alternator before I put a battery in it. Is it a newer truck thing??

I would try getting a wire brush and cleaning off the terminals. It may look like there is no corrosion on there but there might be a little bit that is causing the problem. Also check how tight the cable is where it is crimped onto the terminal connector. If the wire is loose it could cause problems. Also check all the wires for fraying or stripped insulation.
