interior air filter
anyone know and/or have a diagram or pics of an interior air filter change. I don't even know where it is; but be damned if I'm going to pay a dealer to change this item out!
(I'm hoping I can solve the smell in my cab with this change and that its not a larger carpet/dampening change over issue - I live in a very wet/humid area)
thx

I do have one, picture that is but it is unscanable because it is too faint. The duct plenum has to come apart on it I "think" going to look for the picture now
Not many of the 10th gen F150's (97-03) have them. I saw on a program once where they took and sprayed a product like nilodor (sp) in through the front air intake cowl area. Put the fan on high, and switched from defrost to vent to floor and vent. Then added a "new car smell" doing the same procedure. It makes sense to me rather than just spraying a car fresher or hanging one in the mirror

ahhhhhhhhhh here you go
says on the sheet,
NOTE: A cabin Air Filter is available as a DEALER_INSTALLED accessory for the distribution system of this vehicle
by looking at the diagram, the filter would be right by the blower motor by the resistor
