Just recently purchased a 2000 ext. cab f150, after selling the svt focus that I traded for my other truck. Now, I want to do stuff to it because it's too stock for me. I located a 08+ super duty tailgate for $300 brand new, and am debating it. Also some 18" svt lightning wheels for $400 and am thinking that over as well. Now, I found a 2006 f150 rear bumper for $40. Will this fit my truck? Also, will newer (2010+) f150 mirrors fit? Thank you for your time. Also, any other mods that involve swapping onto the 97-03 f150 that y'all know about , please feel free to drop it in this thread. I can always use ideas.

 

Where did you find an 08 SD tailgate for 300?

 

The SD tailgates require a different hinge on the driver side. Bumper might work but you will need to modify the bumper brackets.
