intake mods
Personally, I would stick to the GOTTS intake mod only. I recently removed the intake silencer and it did not make any gains,
After I removed the silencer, I measure the ID of my throttle body and the the ID of my silence and noted the ID of the silencer was slightly larger than the TB ID, therefore no more air can be forced into TB.
With that said, I did notice why there is a silencer in place. Now when I go WFO (wide f'n open), there is a throaty sound under the hood. Sounds kinda cool, but doesnt do anything to make the truck perform any better.
When I did the GOTTS mods, all I added was the 3" rubber joint from the hardware store. I didnt seem to need the PVC pipe as mine already lined up quite nicely.

The Gotts mod is the way to go and put a K&N filter in the stock housing. It still uses the stock tubing but draws more air from the fender. you have to have the sensors between the filter and throttle body either way you do it or itll throw codes and mess up the computer
