Default intake manifold options?
is there a better intake on the 00-03 5.4 vs my 99? even if its just a swap to plastic i would be glad to do it.

Your 99 5.4L already has PI heads, so swapping to a 00-03 will be a lateral move.

Do you have the aluminum or plastic intake now?

To swap OEM intakes would be pointless...

Aluminum, if the plastic are the same I want to swap... it will knock 19lbs off. That will get me over the 200 lb weight reduction
