Default intake and head polishing?

Hey guys I have a lightning motor that I'm getting ready to put in my 03 screw fx4 and I noticed when I pulled the intake that there were some pretty good size casting boogers in the intake and on the heads I was thinking about polishing them up I'm not really looking to port them I know for that u should have a flow bench and some experience I just want to smooth them up and clean up the casting would anybody recommend this? Would it be worth my time? If so what is the best way to do it I see Eastwood sells a kit for port and polish would this be good for my application? , I would really appreciate the advice thanks.

I did my factory one on a NA engine with a dremel and a lot of time. The point here is to not dig in but to smooth. The help may be minimal but its the same reason hotrodders port match their gaskets.
