Yes I did on my 2002 4.2

 

I did to cost a lot

 

I did it myself. Cost 25 bucks

 

Doing it right now. Had to install a whole new intake manifold because it was cracked and leaking coolant. With the exception of the intake bolts on the back and getting coil number 7 off/on, it is very straight forward. Also an excellent time to change your plugs since it doesn't get any easier.
