Default installing a visor

I'm picking up a visor for my truck tomorrow, and lets just say I'm really nervous about drilling holes into my truck. Does anybody have any experience installing one? I guess I'm looking for someone to say don't worry its simple and moron can figure it out, is there anything I should be careful of when installing? Any tips or anything? It would be greatly appreciated. Its a 2003 f150 heritage

Whatever you do, make sure you seal the holes you drill into your cab. You wouldn't want a big leak of water running down onto your electronics or electrical connections and boxes. I also am not a fan of the visors, but on some trucks they look okay. It's your truck, so do and fix it the way you want.

This one looks like it would catch so much air. It doesn't seem to have any supports other than the top mounts. This particular one, I would surely pass on. The Lund one looks decent. I believe it was a 19059 and looked to fit the roofline well.

I wouldnt get one man, your truck is super clean with the paint job and everything, i wouldnt goober it up with a visor. IMO they only look good on square body trucks, they throw off the curves on these.

^X2. I had one on my '92. Looked good on the Gen 9 models, along with a sport bar. Gen 10's are sufficiently rounded, and a visor actually takes away from the intended style. I don't see many on our gen of trucks.
