I have a 2000 f150 5.4 extended cab with 3.55 limited slip. I just put on 33s and am thinking of changing the gear ratio to 3.73 or 4.11, wondering if anyone has done this and how difficult, also any guess how much a fair price would be to have it done.

 

I haven't changed my gears out, so I can't help you there, but I plan on swapping out my front and rear ends from the junkyard so I can have 3.55 limited slip, I'm stuck with 3.31 open right now.

Something that I almost did was just replace the rear gears, don't do that, it will destroy your transfer case.
