So I got my fuel filter changed and decided to cut it open to see what it looked like . Ive ran 87 with ethanol , and everything in between . Not sure if anyone has ever posted something on this or not but here it is ! BTW , O.E. filter with 136,000 rounds .

 

assuming miles not rounds. but damn that's nasty how was the flow prior.

 

All seemed normal ! No hesitation ,bucking , nothing ! Was still getting somewhat decent mileage .

 

they can be a pain up here with the rust.

 

lol That's why I wanted a look inside ! Even though I almost always get my gas from reputable stations , you still here horror stories !
