Question Ingen, K&N, or other CAI???

Truck-2003 F150 5.4L V8

Options-
--Ingen- Because we are Amsoil dealers and therefore get a discount if I buy the Ingen model

--K&N- Name, I know it, I've heard it, but is it so much better over Ingen to give up the discount?

--Other models- I only really know about Ingen and K&N so if yall have any other suggestions or know any that are better than these please feel free to give your input!

Thanks!

The gotts mod looks stock and does the same thing as a CAI.

The gotts mod is way cheaper than a cia because it does the same for about $5. Most fabric or gauze filters are about the same so don't get hung up on a name they all pull big air and put lots of dirt in your motor. I've seen countless K&n's in dirtbikes, atv's dune buggy's and 4x4's and if you pull on off you'll see that the oil was sucked out of the filter and into the tb or carb and into the intake runners. Then into the cyclinder to shorthen the life of the motor.

Well I do want the CAI, and between the discount and it being a B-day present I'm.not worried about cost.

Yeah I'm thinking against K&N because I know the name but after seeing them and how they perform...they only filter out small birds at best lol.

The Ingen CAI we will get an Amsoil Air Filter for, which I know are good because we are amsoil dealers and I have used them countless times on other cars of mine and we have the Ingen CAI for our 06 F250 Super Duty too.

sounds like whoever owns these machines is over-oiling their filters, a common problem when people get a hold of a bottle of air filter oil, people seem to think the more the spray on, the better it is
the only place the k&n isnt ideal is where you live! shamokin/trevorton, that fine coal dust will eat a motor alive
