Default indicator light for cruise control

I checked the FAQ first, got no help. I do not have an indicator light on the dash when the cruise is engaged. I have pulled the cluster and can find no place labelled for such. Everything else is labelled (ie, ILL, LT, RT, etc) but no space for a bulb for cruise. I have a 1998 w/Lariat package 4X4 and I don't even know if there is a light for that. Can anyone help me out here? I need to replace the known bad bulbs and put the dash back together today.

According to the owners manual, there's no light for the cruise.

borrowing the thread, my 2007 SCREW dash light was working until last week. Now no light, control system is still working fine. Just one mention in the service manual, no specifics on function.
2007 Lariat...is the dash indicator a bulb or LED? where does the system engaged illuminate signal come from?

wrong section your in the 1997-2003 section. It might help to go to the 04-08 section but no I don't think they are LED.
