I just got home with a parts truck...my trucks twin no less. But the ignition is destroyed! It took forever to get it on the trailer with NO steering. Now that I'm home and ready to unload...Does anyone know of a quick easy way to disable the steering lock? or how to hot wire to shift auto trans? the driveshaft IS off.

 

take a flat tip screwdriver into the ignition untill you feel it break free than you can turn the ignition ahead and at this time if you push a small screwdriver in the hole under the steering colume you can pull the old ignition out
