Default Ignition and wipers

1999 F-105. I turn the key off, but the truck acts like I turned it to the "accessory" position, (the radio and fan stay on and the door chimes if I open it,) but I can still turn the key to the "accessory" position. Therefore, it really runs my battery down.
Also, when I turn the wipers on, then come on and go off whenever they want to.
Any ideas?
Thanks

No idea on the first part but the wiper issue is a common one, replace the multifunction switch to fix that.

I'm having the same problems with my '99. Door chimes like the key is in it, radio stays on...turning the wipers on shuts it all off, but the battery runs down. replaced ignition switch, no help. I hear a clicking noise under the air cleaner in a relay box. Any ideas? Did you every solve your problem? Thanks!

I have no idea what the problem is, but if it were me I'd look at these as possible reasons.

1. Ignition switch
2. Accessory Relay - Test or swap with a different one. Test to verify ground and power at terminals.
3. Battery Saver Relay - Test or swap with a different one. Test to verify ground and power at terminals.
4. Check grounds behind both passenger and driver side kick panels (Both supply the GEM module).
5. Do addition testing to rule out bad GEM module

All these symptoms go to a wet or damaged GEM module. All controls of these functions go thru this unit. It's behind the drivers side fuse box. Water runs down the glass or from the back, get's it wet, and nothing shuts off. Check GEM problems on here and you will see this is not uncommon. Actually it is quite common in GEN 10s'
