I would have none. Today i went to start my truck and the damn thing made a loud skreech noise. I went to start it again and it started. My guess is starter is going out. Its a 1998 4x4 with a 4.6 in it. Is it a pain in the ***** to change? Thanks for any pointers.

 

Its a little tight but not the end of the world...just make sure you take off the battery cables before you start!!

 

Anything special i need to do? How many bolts hold it on?

 

No not really...it has 3 bolts and one is hard to get to but with patience and persistance you can do it in no time just put the wires back like you take them off.
