Idler Arm ????
anyone out there have a idler arm completely break off while driving? it happened to mine a few days ago.. the part was only 3 months old and bought it from carquest. i am starting to think that they sell ****ty products.
If I'm not mistaken all the aftermarket arms come out of the same foundry in china, I know I've found casting numbers in the same spots on both TRW and Moog arms. Idler arms are just one of the suspension parts that our trucks love to devour, go Motorcraft or get used to changing them out a lot. On my 99' lifted 2wd I went through 3 in the last year I owned it before trading it in.
