I hope you are joking. There are no "pros" of dropping your idle on a stock truck in hopes to make it lope. Remember you're truck is not carbureted and will make adjustments on it's own.
An aftermarket cam may make a little "lope".

Not 100% true, I have the idle turned down on my truck to save fuel. Granted this only helps me because my truck spends hours a day idling often, so the difference between burning .6 gph and .5gph at idle adds up a bit after a week or so.
As for dropping it low enough to cause a lope is pretty dumb, in my opinion.
