Default Identify this bulb

Can anyone tell me what bulb this is? I'm trying to put some ultra white bulbs in my 02 Harley edition and it has some kind of aftermarket glass housing in it. I have tryed a couple sizes with no luck. Any help would be nice. Thanks in advance.

Hard to tell. Pics are not sizes correctly. Try going to autozone and look it up in the computers.

I have tried, but being an aftermarket housing I have had no luck. This is what the housing looks like. The stock harness has an adapter on it to fit the bulb plug.

Looks like a H1 bulb in a different base.
Does the bulb itself pull out of the base?

BTW, that is not an aftermarket housing, that is what came stock on the HD edition.

I just tried, and yes it does! So, do you think it is an h11 base? The seals are getting dry rot and I would like to replace them. I guess I could always just use a o-ring. Thanks so much for sending me down the right path. I just assumed that it was aftermarket, with all the problems identifying the right bulbs.

apart from the back side of the bulb saying H11 or H8 or similar, the tab ears will tell you what bulb they are

my suggestion is to go to Oreilly or Autozone and look at the tab ears. The H11 and H8 are distinct. And while they are distinct, theyre actually interchangeable if you cut the tabs to fit the lamps
