01BlueCrew thank you for the info on the chip/programmer and the rest of your ideas. I really like the idea of the black out look with our color of truck too. do you have any idea on how to paint the tool box? do i need to get the chrome scraped off or just prime and paint?

I've got the 2300, the only difference is its only got two pairs of RCA inputs, and no bluetooth included.

No problem man. Yeah I plan on doing my rims and bumpers come spring. I think you can just wet sand it, wipe with some water and dawn dish soap mix, and paint it. Could do just a rattle can or even do like plasi dip.

IDK if my Lariat came with some "premium" speakers, but after putting this stereo in, they crank.

I will have to look into doing that! So would you do the same thing to the chrome on the bumpers? That would look good all black and blue.
