Default I think i have a major problem.....

I had heard a girgling sound under the dash so i started checking some stuff you all suggested. Here is the problem i found. I took the radiator overflow cap off and it looked dark in there. I took a screw driver and dipped it in there. When i pulled it out it was dark brown and looked like snot. WTF i don't no what the hell this is. The guy i bought the truck from said he had the heads off because of a blown head gasket. He also said he had the heads redone.

I've never seen brown anti-freeze myself. But that sounds like maybe the previous owner might have put some stop leak in the radiator. I would flush the coolant system before i got to excited.

Some antifreeze is blue, some is red, some are other colors. If you mix red and blue, you will get some weird colors that look like brown. That is one possibility. I had red in my system for quite some time

Just flush the system out really good with tap water. When you think you have it clean, you can put new anti-freeze back in it. AutoZone has some radiator flush.
